Joe Henderson's Black!!

Damn, I dig Joe's jazz. This guy truly progressed and thrived throughout many decades innovating his art right along the younger cats of the 70's and 80's. As late 60's early 70's American undertones leaned strongly on black liberation, Joe's music (as many innovators as well) expressed more and more political and social opinions and demands. And, rightfully so. I need not go into a history lesson to explain why; it is self evident. Here is one of three 'black' albums by this great musician that i plan to drop. Without further adieu, turn the lights of inequality off and slip into the black!
