Lee Morgan released some cracking albums and a real shame he was denied the chance to mature to further greatness. I love his live at the Light House album and Caramba isn't bad either. A dig through the internet crates or a trip to Amazon will reward you if you are not familiar with this great artist's many works. Thanks for sharing.

ReplyDeleteAgreed. I love all his works. It's good to study up on the giants of jazz.
ReplyDeleteSweet — both the Lee and the Kyu!
ReplyDeleteGlad you dig it
DeleteKyu Sakamoto also died in tragic circumstances: the 1985 JAL plane crash in Japan. Both artists left their legacies...
ReplyDeleteWow. Coincidental how I posted them together. Two sad stories.
DeleteBummer! The Kyu Sakamoto link is not working... Maybe fixey?
ReplyDeleteThanx either way.
