    2. I wouldn't give you guys blank files. The mystery album thing is it take a chance on downloading an album that I think you would like

    3. Oh, sorry for being so rude - I misinterpreted the mystery aspect! I didn't knew the album, and found the DJ Shadow story behind quite interesting - hunting for obscurities is the same sport in the blogosphere, I have the feeling. Cheers.

    4. No problem, man! I guess I could just do a full-on mystery album (no info given, even on the track names). But, the ones I post are just taking a chance, trusting that what I offer while be worth the download, etc. Enjoy, L!

  2. I've always suffered from a obsessive/compulsive NEED to know who I'm listening too, so I've appreciated having the info when I open the file. I'm also glad to avoid the tedious task of going back and renaming the folder and all the song files once I figure out who the performer(s) is(are). That said, I understand the lure of the true downbeatesque blindfold challenge. Maybe for next one you could first post an untitled track, let us grapple with it for a day or two, then post the full.file titled album....

    1. I like your idea. And I am like you: I am VERY OCD about my music library

  3. Wow, this is nice! It's like if Fela Kuti played short, less political songs. I probably would have never thought to check it out unless someone tricked me into. My world is richer thanks to your deception!
