If you are not familiar with Mr. Nelson, I suggest you get to steppin' at his work. The man was involved with soooo many albums as a composer, and his lead work is just as slammin'. Stunning, vivid, highly dramatic, and moments of deep despair is how I'd describe this album's sound. It plays styles between contemporary jazz, big band, and even has moments reminiscent of 60's t.v. drama and suspenseful movie OSTs. I know you'll enjoy this super blast of horns, orchestrated jazz and sound clips of JFK. Remember Jack's dream!
